At Oily, we take pride in delivering fresh, high-quality extra virgin olive oil sourced and bottled to the highest standards. Because our oils are perishable food products, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges once items have been dispatched. This policy ensures food safety and product integrity for all customers.

Perishable Products

All of our olive oils are classified as perishable consumables and therefore exempt from the usual “change of mind” return rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Once delivered, products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless they arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect.

Damaged Goods / Delivery Claims

All orders are quality-checked and securely packed before dispatch.
If your order arrives damaged (e.g. broken seals, cracked bottles, leaking packaging), please contact us immediately at oily@oilyoil.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery.

To help us resolve your issue quickly, please include:

• Your order number

• Clear photos of the damage and packaging

• A brief description of the issue

We’ll assess your claim and, if eligible, arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

In some cases, you may also be asked to raise a claim directly with the courier. We’ll assist by providing all required shipping documentation to support your claim.

Incorrect or Incomplete Orders

If you’ve received an incorrect or incomplete order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at oily@oilyoil.co.uk with:

• Your order number

• Photos of what you received

We’ll review and get back to you promptly to resolve the issue.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once approved, refunds will be processed to your original method of payment.
Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after 10 working days, first check your bank account and contact your payment provider.
